Not as many because most organisms of the time would not have yet adapted to preying on higher mammals, much less humans; but, those that we could catch would be much more deadly because our immune systems would be adapted to handle them.
Best way I know how to put it.

Probably...there is a theory called " Moving the Zoo"> Within your own environment you have become immune to all the diseases etc,,,over the years and wherever you go you take your little zoo of bugs with you. If you move you can become affected by the germs of other groups who have their own local immunity. The obvious test of this is the cold or feeling unwell when you visit friends outside your immediate group at holiday times. It was once reckoned that if you moved back to the dinosaur age...even the huge fleas that lived on the reptiles would be big enough to cause you grievous harm.

Of course, you'd still be human. You might not catch the diseases you've been vacinated for, but I'm sure there were many other onces that were catchable, possibly even ones that died out with the dinosaurs but you could catch it and bring it back wtih you and destroy the human race! (over active imagination at work lol)

Depends on what kind of trap or net I used and if the disease was a carnivore or herbivore.
Those little beggers run really fast so I would need some sort of wheels too!!!
Also some cages to put them all in until I can get my disease theme park up and running. I dont like caged diseases so it would be an open plains park that way they could roam to their hearts content.

Interesting Question, thanks!
Yes one would think so... there would be many more microbes that our systems just could not deal with even with out flu shots of today. A lot of the disease's that we have overcome with medications would have thrived back then. Or, that would be my guess. However, if we were born into that time and space, we would perhaps have more natural immunities being of that era. And, I'm not going to google this either!

With my sensitive system, anything is possible. I would think that a human from this century would pose more of a threat to the dinosaurs & other life forms from the mutated strains of viruses & bacteria that we have in & on our bodies!

I don't think I could survive the trip and if I did I would probably grow scales and big claws and look like a big fat turtle lunching on anything in my path. I will opt to say yes diseases everywhere.

I have no idea but I somehow think that I would be the only thing that was getting caught. The knees don't work as good as they used to.
