Only if you are in the U.S. Most people in other countries require less "personal space" and touch more often. (Gee, that boring social psych class finally paid off.)

Define "touch". ^_^ And who is it?
--If it's a friend or lady love....no, they could be closer.
--If it's a damned clown....they're likely in just the right range for me to hit them, though I might move in a bit just to get some power going.
--If it's anyone else, and they aren't overtly hostile or insulting or threatening, well...arm's length is fine I suppose. Live and let live I guess. I have to use a mass transit bus sometimes, people have done worse in terms of invading my personal space. o_o

Hmmm, I miss being close, but I do like my space at times. I would rather share my space than not, I think.
