Well, I thought this was going to be a nice Christmas. My husband is been different lately. He resents anything I have or aquire, it seems.
but I thought it was over & he'd gotten me the Lee jeans i had asked Santa for. Turns out , he got me a tanzanite ring.
well, there was a store going out of business, & had 70% off sale. I bought 31.00 worth of stuff & he didnt say a word. Then we got home & he says, "I cant see how your could spend 31.00 on junk jewelry & not spend no more on my present than you did."
Needless to say, the ring is neatly packaged & going back in the morning.
He'd said about 2 weeks or so ago"I bet you havent even started thinking about what your gonna get me." So i got it out of him what he wanted & went out right then & got him 2 pair of Wrangler jeans. He also needed a dress shirt. which i got him & he was mad about cause he siad he dont need a shirt. plus i threw a John Wayne movie in there which i wanted. That made him mad too.
so i'm sitting here at the computer, heart broken. & trying to find some way to feel better.

OK. Time to vent. I am going to Texas tomorrow morning. That is a 15 hour drive. I don't like going there. It is my husband's family we are going to visit. He has 5 sisters, 5 brothers, a mom and a goat. They (85%) do not like me. I don't think the freaking goat even likes me.I am not the same race or religion. I there for am known as the "white devil". I go and stay at a hotel and hang out with a sister-in-law who no one likes either (except me).... she is also married into the family. I steer clear of all the chaos. It is a miserable time. I spend my money and vacation time to support my husband. He defends me and he always feels bad about the way they treat me... but he still wants to see his mother. I totally understand that. His mom is the one who hates me the most. I am leading her son to hell... because I am a devil.
Maybe this year I will win the fricken goat over... it's a start.
