I backed up my (OE) address book, and '.ink' popped up when I tried to open the back-up.

All answers are good. But CSV file intrigues me.... how do I do it ???

.ink is normally the extension for hand written material where the strokes are recorded (like pen and ink)

to view the archived OE address book best is to save it as CSV file(comma separated values) it saves the file as .txt so simply can be viewed in notepad
