I would rather have seen Mariano Rivera (in his prime) pitch to Albert Pujols in the bottom of the ninth of the world series.
Rivera in his prime was devastating but so is a healthy Albert.
I guess I would rather pitch to Abert if I was as good as Mariano in his prime. I would try and break his bat.

Pitch against Albert Pujols because I'm a Cardinals fan and a bad pitcher so if I pitched against Pujols in the bottom of the ninth in the World Series at game 7 the Cardinals would win the World Series for the 11th time.

I would rather bat against Rivera. Striking out to end the world series is not nearly as bad as giving up a world series winning home run. The pitcher succeeds 70% of the time. Either way im screwed though.

Ask Brad Lidge what its like to pitch to Pujols in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and a 2 run lead. Im sure he'd take his chances swinging away at Rivera.

At my age, I'm a better hitter, than pitcher. Although, as a Cardinal and Pujols fan, I would love to give up the winner to El Hombre Grande! LOL

I would rather pitch to Pujols.
1. I can always walk him.
2. he is a 350. hitter, which means he misses 65% of the time.

Pitch against Pujols. He'd definitely hit me, but maybe it would be a screaming liner directly at a fielder and I'd get him out.

I would rather pitch to Babe Ruth than hit off Josh Towers. Bottom line, hitting is much harder than pitching.
