yes. life isn't meant to be constant and unchanging. you can control how fast you decide to live it, but going with what i think the meaning of your analogy is, you can't control it at a constant rate without suddenly veering off the designated road.

When I am on cruise control everything is cool and I am usually singing and on the straight-away. So I would think I am in control, not spiraling out of control.

When I leave the peace of cruise control, I spiral out of control. Risky business.

Yes, especially if you are on ice. The experts do not recommend using cruise control when the roads are icy, snowy etc. Inshort, winter conditions. Cruise control is great only when conditions are normal.

It's a huge mistake to be on cruise control in life. One must be aware and awake to live. If one chooses to be on cruise control, one has already disconnected and going downward.

Very much so- while I'm laid back, I get myself in more trouble. I have to stay focused and in control- that's just me though.
