I am sure that there are more than one, strong, Democracy driven Muslims in the world.

No. First of all, it would be like someone saying "Gordon Brown is the hope for the Christian world..." Pakistan is just one country in the Muslim world and Bhutto was just one politician.

She might have been hope for Pakistan... but she was somewhat a polarizing figure in Pakistan. People loved her and she looked like she could have won but a lot of people did not like her. Also remember that she was convicted of corruption at one time while she held office (and there was real evidence that supported the conviction... not just trumped up charges). She would have been maybe better than Musharraf but I don't know if she would have fulfilled her promises.

jpc8015 is right on the money. What the liberal media won't tell you is she stole 10's of millions of dollars from Pakistan and fled the country to live like a queen in Dubai. When the money ran out she returned to the scene of the crime and justice was served.
