I read the book "A Ring of Endless Light" and was curious.

I understand that many scientist have Physics ability.

We have built receivers so sensitive, that a 15 Watt transmitter at Pluto can transmit a signal that we can turn into a video image back here on earth. That's a fact.

It's all about tuning your receiver to reduce the detection bandwidth down so that the SNR becomes detectable.

Conceivably, this could be done with biologically generated signals.

But part of the problem is that the human mind generates signals at a low frequency (KHz) where there is considerable background noise.

It may be beneficial to try and isolate the backgrounf noise to se if a sensitive enough receiver could be built to detect human generated signals.

But of course, the mind may be allready capable. Who knows.

I am open minded because I understand the physics and have built receivers to do things others thought were impossible.
