The American Empire is falling, what do you think will be the next superpower(s)?

The American Nation is falling apart. We have taken the forefathers out of history, dumbed down education until everybody passes, and sold our morality for special favors politically, judicially, and even in entertainment.

We elect leaders on selfish promises, and then wonder why our country is deteriorating rapidly. We try to run down religions with high ethical standards while supporting every robed guy who comes long with a "new and improved" religion, and donate lots of money, on which the guru retires. to his 20-million dollar estate, and we chase another guru who saw a space alien enter the USA illegally by dividing the fence, and proclaims he is come to bring world peace by using your contributions to build his new mansion and tower that reaches the heavens.

With abandoning willfully all that made our country great in its development, things like firm ethics, good education, serious communication, and a determination for this country to succeed, and have gone chasing fantasies, letting go of ethics, morality, even honesty; we are indeed falling apart..

I tend to agree that it will be China, because they have the population base and the indoctrination to do it, and more so since our silly politicians will trade our security info and our weapons plans for a few political baubles, a contribution the the war chest, a sightseeing trip and companions for the trip worth seeing!. And we have put these bought politicians in office based on selfish reasons, unrelated to the good of America. And we wonder when the fruits come rolling in, what happened?

China has the religion of old-line Communism, and it can be very effective and productive. The know how to sacrifice to get to their goals. And they are determined, while in the pursuit of the Dollar Almighty we have given ourselves away to where they already own us, and it they wish they can economically destroy us with a word.

I agree with China, and probably Russia, but I think little Israel has the drive to succeed, and the capabilities to show real teeth and claws. We have been keeping them down, but as we decay we will not be able to bribe and restrain them much longer.

what ever america does or doesnt do, China will be the next superpower both financially and militarily, it may even quickly eclipse America. There is always an element of superpower envy. Some of the things America has done are bizzaire, and on hindsight embarassing, it often doesnt get credit for things it has done which have benefitted the reat of the world. Its an easy target for those politically opposed to America (those laregly on the left) and the free market system , some is just political envy (eg France) it possible America may instigate a war, but I doubt it will be to protect its world dominance. Its possible it may go to war to stop Iran building numes... but deep down I doubt it. The one potential risk I can see is that Israel may do soemthing about it, and on the back of that America may get dragged in.

Well ive known for a long time as many others that the american system is corupt and slowly heading for a colapse, this does not mean by any means they wont be any less lethal, just more like russia, dangerous, but not trying to bomb u for your oil.

Russia has been on a very slow rebuild, they have the ability to reclaim their glory, but with future changes in leadership, i doubt it will get there.

China is a real problem, they make me think of starcraft and the Zerg. Which i dont consider them ever coming a military technological leader, but more less a zerg army of doom. Which makes them a very big issue, since they already have plenty of reasons to flex the power.


however with technology being a huge factor rather then pure quantity of missiles/ships but rather a single ships/soldiers abilities, its giving smaller powers the ability to compete on a technological lvl with the leading military powers.

So if mass destruction weapons are ignored and their weapons technologies are superior, it means if they use their military wisely they have a very good chance of standing up to a much larger country in terms of man power, this has been demonstrated throughout history, were better trained/experienced and weaponized defender/attackers were able to overcome massive diferences in manpower.

In reality even America being considered a super power it is merely a virtual super power, if terrorist grps managed to get their hands on a few nuclear devices, which isnt to far of, the american border is lets face it, a cake walk to get in, like all the other thousands of ilegal imagrants visiting each year.

Send them in boom boom and the country will be on its knees, unable to act on a unknown threat, cripled economy and a cripled system unusable due to radiation, super power? only if its doing the attacking, not when defending as we have already seen clearly happen small scale.

Anyways china like others say is the most predictable, but only as a zerg power, many countries have the technological edge to compete, but it is doubtful any of them will ever want to actively take the front line when taking action in world conflicts.

How you are saying America is falling?There were two superpowers earlier ,now there is only one and only USA.The US $ is very strong.American missiles can reach or nuke any part of the world.China is growing economically but they cannot grow beyond the region.China,Japan and India will be "mini super powers" but not super power .

I could see Russia stepping back to the forefront..

and to be honest. Korea and Venezuela would have a chance as well..

I do hope that this will not happen within my lifetime though...
