I'm horrifically near-sighted without my contact lenses.I have a really bad habit of leaving them in too long.

Yes and yes. I mostly wear my contacts but my eye doctor said that wearing them 24/7(I have the night and day ones) was causing infections in my eyes so I need to wear my glasses at least one day every month. I have been wearing my glasses about 3-5 days a month now:)

I wore glasses and contact lenses from age 10 to 30-- and all the time because I was severely near sighted.
I had LASIK at age 30 and just now at 40 need reading glasses. I will wear them-- I love to read and want to see what I am looking at. :)

I needed them most my life. I had to start wearing them again, for I recently was diagnosed for astigmatism and far-sighted. If I remember right, my left eye can see 2 lines above 20/20, and my right eye, three lines above 20/20.
I keep forgetting to put them on because I can see good enough without them, but I do want to wear them while I'm fortunate enough to be not too bad off. I don't want to get worse and have to depend on them.
I thought about contacts, but I was told that because of my astigmatism, the fitting would cost more and so would the contacts. I came to love wearing glasses, however. Besides, anyone who TRULY love me would not let glasses get in the way!

I wear my glasses all the time and have for over twenty years. I briefly tried contacts, but they were uncomfortable, expensive and too much work. One of these days I may get laser surgery, but I'm not in any hurry. The only time I hate wearing glasses is when they fog up due to extreme cold temperatures.

I wear contact lenses mostly but if my contacts don't come in in time, then I wear glasses. I look good in both!

I have to wear glasses/ contact lenses all the time because I can only see things properly when my face is 10cm away from them

I wear contacts now..dont even take them out until its time to change. In between, I keep them out for a few days at the risk of falling down the stairs because the world now looks like a fishbowl! My contact script is -6.

I don't wear either, but if I had too I would chose glasses. I hear contacts make the eyes itchy and dry and hurt many people. Cheers!
