ok so i remember watching this movie when i was younger but cant remember what it was, it was about teenagers and they would dress all 80s and the main girl went to a palm reader she is a short plump woman witha squeaky voice. the girl and a guy she like were running the a big deserted house. i think it was on the disney channel but im not positive. another thing that i remember is the 80s hair accessories, the girl wore them and everyone started to copy her... any ideas? i must sound crazy but it has been stuck in my head forever

The description of the fortune teller made me wonder if this is "Teen Witch" (1989), with Zelda Rubenstein as Madame Serena. Perhaps this is way off, but it's my initial guess.

Louise (Robyn Lively) is not very popular at her high school. Then, she learns that she's descended from the witches of Salem and has inherited their powers. At first she uses them to get back at the girls and teachers who teased her and to win the heart of the handsome football captain. "Teen Witch" is a film that was released in 1989. It was originally pitched as a sequel/spin-off of the 1985 movie "Teen Wolf". Later though it was re-worked and turned into a film of its own. The movie is a fantasy/musical blend with the elements of a fantasy being the "witch" but the characters in this movie burst out into song twice, leading fans to believe this movie was originally intended to be a musical. The soundtrack consists of mainly dance music, but the film score is jazz.
NOTE: "Teen Witch: The Musical" went into production in 2006 and released a soundtrack February 13, 2007. It was to start showing this summer though I don't know if that happened.

AHH..i think i know...is the short women from polgergist or sumthing....aw now im stuck..but the one im thinkin of is, she gives the girl this necklace that lets her make wishes.
