I've never had a bad experience donating to Goodwill or shopping there. Goodwill is a program that puts people to work who may have some disability that would prohibit them from the traditional workforce. So those Goodwill employees may have been mentally challenged. Remember you're donating for a good cause, so you don't really need a thank you. Good luck. 2D

Once my wife donated all these Golden Dawn occult books to Goodwill. Now there's a coven of witches living in the dumpster where the clothes get dropped off. It's pretty scary. They give everyone the evil eye and turn people into newts and stuff if you decline their offers to read tarot. Other than that, they loiter around reading Danielle Steel novels and trying on old running shoes.

It is better to think twice before donation. If someone donate any thing for Goodwill and the donated thing goes to some wrong hands, the fruit of donation will not be awarded to the person who have donated. Therefore it is advise able to think before giving donation that the person who is collecting will use the money/thing for Good cause.

Whenever I go to Goodwill to donate, I bring the large bin to my car, fill it up and bring it inside. I have noticed they are sometimes understaffed and I wait for a cashier to finnish with other customers to get my paper to use for contributions on my income tax. I have really never run into rude employees. I use the Goodwills in Pennsylvania.

You should send a certified letter to the CEO of Goodwill Industries. This information you can get from the main library in your town. You can also access this information through the internet. The Goodwill Industries has always taken pride in being a most charitable and thought provoking institution, and not "evil" thoughts. Please take a moment to let them know because I tell you sincerely, they won't tolerate that type of a person to "represent" them. I wish you well.
I wish for you and your loved ones, a prosperous, healthy, God-endowed, Happy New Year. P E A C E!!!!

I donate and they always say thank you and help me get the stuff out of my car. They also give me receipt for tax purposes. Maybe it is just the Goodwill that you go to. Try finding another one or find a different charity. The Salvation army will pick up stuff.

Nope. I've donated to Goodwill and they were very appreciative. Actually they were really busy and asked if I'd like to work there.

Donate for the less fortunate - not to get kudo's from the volunteers working at Goodwill. The best way to ever give or donate is to do so anonymously not for recognition and praise. That's not what donating is about.

Well, usually it's kids working in the warehouse. And they are just there for the hourly wage. Im sure they are very appreciateive- speaking for the company anyway. I do get that feeling though. It's like I feel bad for dumping my unwanted stuff off at their doorstep, but it really does help people.
