For heaven's sake, on what basis do you hate Fram? All oil filters are essentially the same: they use a folded paper element and an anti-drainback valve that consists of a rubber flap. They don't last forever, which is why you change them.
Please get real about the advertising of automobile parts. It's merchandising without any scientific basis. Engines are lasting a very long time lately, mostly due to improvements in metallurgy and lubricants. Oil filters haven't changed since they used a roll of toilet paper as an element (which is true--check an old JC Whitney catalog.)
Go forth and buy whatever is cheap, and find something else to worry about. If it makes you happier, buy a Delco OEM one from the dealer; it's what came on the truck to begin with. But if you're changing your oil on a regular basis, the filter doesn't do a whole lot anyway; most of the crud remains in suspension and there isn't very much there to begin with.

The big risk is of it clogging. If it clogs, the oil won't circulate as it should. Aside from that, in most cars the filter holds a significant amount of oil, or at least enough to taint the new oil that you're putting in. It's very difficult to get all of the oil out when doing an oil change, not changing the filter just leaves that much more dirty oil in the engine. I'd spend the three bucks.

If I were you, I would love Fram and hate Delco. Fram has been proven to provide better filtration. All this aside, my preference is Mobil One filter. It filters down to microns. Also, be sure whatever filter you decide on has a by-pass valve built into it for the protection of your engine. Purolaters are cheaply made in foreign countries, like Israel.

We had a salesman who had a hard time selling filters. He would come back disgruntled and say "They want Fram" . So we got a skeleton inventory , and he came back and said "They dont want Fram"
Comical and after 15 years still makes me laugh

Any filter that states in the writing somewhere that it will not void the manufactures warenty are good filters. Other wise the choice for your favorite is what you are comfortable with. some claim a higher filteration capture rate than others, say one will call for 94 percent rate while the next one say 96 percent rate. I am sure that oil filters like car batteries are made by fewer manufactures than the names on the filter labels. So go with the one that you like the best.

They are all pretty much the same as long you change the oil according to the Owner's Manual.
