Snowboard shops?

Question

Anybody know any good local snowboard shops in the san fernando valley or areas close to that like santa clarita or simi? Looking to buy a board this weekend and I dont know where is a good place.

I actually prefer the small local board shops, but I don't know of any there - you may have to look for a large retailer.

Look for the closest REI or Sports Authority store - they both carry top quality brands so they are a little more expensive. You could also go to Big 5, but they carry low end equipement - I wouldn't buy that stuff unless money is your only factor.

If you are not sure you are going to be riding for years, why not consider renting equipment?
