how can i dedicate a specific amount of space (pixel x pixel) to a java script menu in a webpage? possible?

i have a webpage that has a javascipt menu in it and i want to use this manu for many pages and i want to have it in a different file so when i edit the file all the webpages gets edited. what is the code for that? thanks!
