Where can I get a new code for the Sims 2?

I lost my booklet that has the code for my Sims 2 University, I don't know where it is and I didn't register online, so I can't get it online. Is there a way for me to look for my code without buying a new expansion pack or something like that?

Contact EA Games and request a new serial number. It'll cost you $10 to do so, but it's cheaper than buying a new game. That's the only way to retrieve your serial number since you didn't register the game.
