yes that way if you don't want to you don't have to renew it. it would keep the cost of divorces down.

Marriage licenses DO have expiration dates. The license is just the piece of paper that ALLOWS you to get married, and is only valid for about 90 days. The marriage CERTIFICATE, which is issued after you are legally married, does not have an expiration date.

The reason why you have to renew your license is to keep tabs on drivers. Driving can be a dangerous thing and that's why your license needs to be renewed. But a marriage license shouldn't have to be renewed, no.

No. It would be best if the entire license just dissolved.
Plus: when you think about the skeezers sittin around DMV. it's like "Who wants to be sittin around DMR Divn of Marriage Renewal????

many people would say yes, however if there is an expiration date then no woluld mind hard times because there is a end date. So to me, it wouldn't make since
