To how much and how can I overclock my amd sempron 1.8ghz 3400+ safely?

You can never overclock "safely", as it voids the warranty on your processor. You will need to be concerned with heat issues, esp on an AMD processor. I suggest you NOT overclock, but if you insist look to the link below.

You can't.

Overclocking means running your hardware in a manner it was designed to be used and therefore means that there are no guarantees that it'll still work once you've done the overclock.

Besides, it's not like anyone actually gets a significant enough performance boost out of overclocking for it to be worthwhile.
