Or view them as insecure for pointing them out? For example, Tyra Banks acknowledges and has mentioned a lot of times that she has a big forehead. A girl I know who is really pretty says she wishes her butt was bigger. I probably would've never noticed if she never pointed it out.

So, would you respect them more or look down on them more?

Self-disclosure is healthy in many relationships, so yes i would respect them more for trusting me with their personal issues.

And usually it results in me doing the same - reciprocity, baby.

Insecure! Hell no! It takes a lot of guts to acknowledge your own personal flaws. If people point out thee own flaws then it stops those 'gossip mongers' from talking behind there backs!
You should really respect them more!

Depends on the flaw, that doesn't really count, if it is something personality wise then that is different. If they are pointing it out because they want you to know ahead of time the i would respect them.

I think any one who can admit the flaws deserves respect. It takes a lot to do that. I wouldn't purposely through them out there like T B did. But I can admit what my flaws are. : )

Respect them. It takes a big person to admit they have flaws, let alone admit a specific flaw. Most people like to deny they have any flaws whatsoever.

I'd prefer a person whose willing to admit a flaw or mistake rather than a person who won't admit they have one.

I respect people who acknowledge there flaws and character defects because only the wise who do not lie to themselves see things for what they really are.

Good luck.

Sweet Heart, everyone has flaws. Some are real and some are not. But weather real or not they are real to the person who has them.
Each person would answer your question, according to their maturity level, differently.

I have always admitted that I feel insecure the way I look to my girl and I expect her to be open too.
I think its better to accept your partner the way they are with all their insecurities and fears.
that uilds the trust between you too.
