She should knew she has many enemies. However--why did she still want to be in the public eyes? Is she a power hunger. Is she that idealist?

Thank you.

I would say she was more an idealist than power hungry.

I think she thought she could help stabilize the country, as she had many many backers in Pakistani.

It's a sad time as I great admired her and is reminder of what terrorist activities can do.

The simple answer to your question is SHE WANTED TO GO HOME!

Of course she knew there were many dangers in going back to Pakistan. After all other members of her family including her father were killed before her. She was an extremely courageous woman who put others before herself. She could have easily stayed away and been safe. Instead having seen the degree of instability and danger in her country she decided to come out of exile. Maybe she was an idealist in believing that she could bring her country together!

Whatever your political views are you have to admire her courage! I have absolutely no connection to Pakistan or Mrs. Bhutto in any way. However as a member of the human race ... I am sad today!

Have you ever been consumed with a passion to do something that you risk everything just to achieve it?

That was what happened to PM Bhutto. She had the desire to change help her country - and she was consumed by it- so much so that she is not afraid to come back despite the fact that many extremists hated her.

She died as a martyr for democracy in the same way her father died.

They blame on the terrorist but I bet the current regime kill her because they know she was going to win the upcoming election. She was an idealist who thought she can change the world like Martin Luther King, they just kill whoever want to do good.
