Whatever gifts I have to use it to glorify God, and to serve God and be righteous, not in the eyes of society, but in His eyes.

Of course, your question requires God. Natural processes, e.g. evolution, by themselves do not provide any purpose. It would be like asking a river the purpose of water running downhill or asking a cloud the purpose of a raindrop. Purpose requires a plan and a plan requires a Planner.

If we admit that God exists, then we can see that He must have put our intense need for purpose into our human nature to point us to seek Him. And so seeking our Creator is our purpose.

If we reject God, then we have no real purpose, but we need to at least have the feeling of having purpose even if we don't have the reality. So we invent "reasons for living", attach great importance to our invention and delude ourselves into the idea that our invention is what we "are really here for". It is an exercise in self deception. It is surrendering to the Matrix (You'll understand if you've seen the movie, The Matrix)
