Not listing these in pro/con format, just stating facts.
-I'm about 5 quarters from my M.B.A. right now (killed some post-grad stuff while doing Bach.).
-Will cost me about 22,000 dollars, and about 15-16 months of work, to finish my M.B.A. (doing night classes, so I can work heavy part time for money).
-I can get loans that will cover the whole of that. Unsure so far if I can get any scholarships/grants or other "Free money" to offset how much that would be.
-I am already about 15K in the whole on student loans.
-My degree is in Criminal Justice, so the MBA will at least broaden my education (CJ is a one trick pony for getting jobs)
-In the long run, I do want a law degree.
-My school is not a big name school, it's a small private one. It IS accredited through a regional collective, that is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. I checked to be safe.

I'll post the questions off these in an add on... running out of room here after listing details. Give me one sec.

So knowing this...
1.) Will an M.B.A. broaden my career potentials? Especially more then, say, just picking up a second Bach degree in Mng or Mrkt?
2.) In the, say 10 year long run, will I make enough more for having it to offset the more then doubling my loans?
3.) Will it be respected by people(employers), since while it is fully accredited, it's not a "big name" MBA school like an Ivy League, or even a Big State school?
4.) Will it aid me in getting into, and getting money for law schools?
5.) Looking at what I pay in time and money for what I get, does that look like a good deal?
6.) Anyone got any other opinions they think need to be added, or question that need to be asked?

Sorry about typos and such... to pay bills I'm working at a Walmart right now being constructed (they hired fast, and it's money while I wait for my other applications to be processed to jobs more my pay scale... and w/ bills due, some money is better then no money), I'm on a 4 day work streak w/o a lot of sleep... since in my off time I'm busy applying for other jobs, and my only time to show up in person for them is before work.

Top 15 MBA programs will get you several six figure job offers.

Ranked MBA programs not in the top 15 will help you get a good job & will get you a nice bump in salary -- enough to justify the cost.

An MBA from a school that is not ranked will do little more for you than a BS in Business Administration. It usually isn't worth the cost unless someone else is paying for it or you have a worthless undergraduate degree.

These are questions you should have thought about BEFORE starting an MBA program.

You are giving a life history when a synopsis would do. You are too wordy to be a lawyer. The jury would fall asleep during your summation. As for the MBA who really knows what the degree is worth. The man behind the degree is the governing factor. You may have the qualifications to get into law work and then again the competition may be stiff. So get the best education you can along with some work experience. That is what I would advise.
