It was not Lord Vishnu's wish. He didn't want the guys to be killed. The tiger was clever, however, and it escaped because of its cleverness.

those who play with fire get burnt its a pity the tiger paid for it with its life.I have visited the tiger temple in Thailand and have great respect for these animals and yes i have been bitten by a cub that someone else hit ,I did not blame the animal for it reacting natualy being teased by someone else.To the families of the inoccent guys at the coffee shop whom were attacked my heart goes out to you .
