What happens when you turn in fake money to the bank?
I know it wouldn't added to your balance but just carious.
What does the bank do with it? And other info. like that would be nice. Thanks in advance.

You lose that money......

You wont get real money in exchange for it.. not one red cent...

You open yourself up to FBI investigation, and arrest...

if you turn in fake money to the bank, be sure you have someone close by to point the finger at... or the secret service just might be tempted to arrest YOU!!

and your balance might be fine, it depends when they notice that it's fake. If it is during the transaction, then you'll lose it... but if they find out later, then how would they prove it was Your cash that was fake, and not the next guys?? :)

The bank would contact the Secret Service and hand over the fake money to them, as well as all information on who they received it from. The Secret Service would then examine the money for evidence as to how it was made and who might of made it.

fake money is reported to the treasury dept and they would in turn contact you to get all the details of how you came about acquiring the fake money!!!
