chevrolet with the 427 ci installed corvettes, nickys, baldwin motion, and yenko camaro, chevelle and yes 427s were installed in them before 70, and novas around with that power and the 454 installed 70 chevelle chevy will make fords look like **** on the strip but no chevrolet can beat the 427 shelby cobra and the 64 ford thunderbolt can hold its own against the big block chevys but i still like ford but no ford couldnt beat chevy. but with a 3 way mopar vs chevy vs ford mopar will make both of them see taillights to the very end point blank.

CHEVY!!!my dad worked for Ford for 15 years and the whole time he worked there he drove a Chevy He used to tell me never buy a Ford I've seen how there made. I've been a mechanic for 10 years I've worked on alot of vehicles personally like chevys better that ford

Chevrolet by far. More "go fast" parts availability directly from GM. You'll find there are tons of other companies who sell hard core parts also. Who wins all the races? It can be Outlaw Sprint Cars, Dirt and asphalt modifides, Outlaw late-models and the whole NASCAR circuit as well.
Rail drag racing is another story as Chrysler has a distinct advantage because of their hemispherical cylinder heads.
Other classes are split between Chevrolet and Dodge. There are a few Fords sprinkled here and there in funny car racing.
You'd need to subscribe to National Dragster to be up on all the classes.

that's the age old question. Chevy lovers hate Ford, and Ford lovers hate Chevy. Had one of each, the Ford was much less trouble.

I am more into the Chevy's but then it all depends on the year of the ford the new ones are junk
