People are probably laughing at this, but it's sort of true. Their farm team has provided some great players that have been ready for the show right away. They don't have a lot of stars on the team and a lot of people haven't heard of 90% of the roster but they've gone through contreversy to maintain a good record. They were also hit by the injury bug big time. Bergeron out for probably the season. Alberts still out (Post concussion effects). Ward out with a broken foot. I'm not sure if he's back yet or not but Murray was out for a while. And these aren't just whatever players. Bergeron was maybe the most important player on the team, as a leader and a playmaker. Alberts is one of the B's best defenders and is tough and some of his hits provide momentum shifts. He's definatley important to the team. Ward is a good defender, and with Alberts out, is even more important. Murray is a leader, a goal scorer, and a grinder. He's also a very important part of the team. With all these injurys the B's have had to rely on some Providence prospects. Sbotka is a stand out to me, he's done a great job doing the little things right.

It's like my 84 Scirocco's engine compartment, I keep on dropping screws, washers, etc. down in it when I'm working on it, and plenty of them I just plain lose down in there. Must have a really deep engine compartment, I'd have to say...

All kidding aside, the late 80's-early 90's days of Neely, Bourque, Moog+Lemelin are too long ago. That's the last time in my opinion that it could've been argued they were the deepest team. Bad trades, bad drafts, bad management, guys leaving b/c of $$ has exacted a price. At least you got Tuukka Rask.

They only have 3 players with 10 or more goals, and none of those players have much more than that. They also only have 3 players with 20 or more points. I think that is the opposite of depth.

The Bruins will probably make the playoffs this year. You're probably just a little excited, so I will cut you a break.

If there is another league that goes with the initials NHL then yes but that league is likely to be sued for a trademark infringement.

The Wings have 9 players with 20 or more points, and two goalies with phenominal winning records. I cannot imagine you are serious about this.

Not even close, and their prospects aren't listed in the top 10 either. Chiarelli has a huge mess to clean up in beantown still

Line to line, defensive pairings to pairings... I'd say Detroit is the deepest... followed by Anaheim.
