Well, no offense, but I really much prefer male vocalists.
Anyway. I think that Freddie Mercury is absolutely the best vocalist of all time. I mean seriously, he was in a Rock Band (Queen) so obviously could sing hard rock, but he also sang opera sometimes. In his Mr. Bad Guy album, a few songs have him singing opera, and he's fantastic at that, too! He could sing Rock, Opera, Pop, Jazz, Metal, Rockabilly, anything he wanted.
And the man had a 3.5 octave range!
Second, I think that Brian May has the most beautiful voice of all time, plus he is a world-renowned guitarist. I mean, he's not the best singer (that honor goes to Freddie), but Brian's voice is much more beautiful. If you listen to Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever, Brian sings that first verse and some other stuff, just....wow. He has a gorgeous voice. Just listening to him sing Too Much Love Will Kill You today, I started to cry.
Hm. And yeah, I'm not big on screamers.

For male vocalist,I would have to say,
Gerard Way and Kurt Cobain.
Female vocalists,deffinately Hayley Williams,she's utterly amazing.
As for screamer,Frank Iero has some maddd scream skills when he uses them...which he rarely does. >.<

many more..its hard.
For female its Amy Lee of Evanescences.
Hands down she wins. She has one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard.
