Sometimes warm water or heat (can be a bath, shower, heating pad etc.) speeds up the flow of blood and it will be heavier for a little while after the exposure to the heat..

doesn't make it heavier, your just not suppose to take a bath while on your period. Thats why we have what is called a shower. If your leaking out blood most likely its going to go in your bath water.

No. The water could dilute the flow and make it seem heavier for a little while.

The warm water can relax your uterus which in turn relaxes the veins that supply the area causing more blood to flow from the uterus.

I would think not. Personally, I wouldn't take a bath while on my period.

It always made it lighter for me. But I guess the warm water could relax the uterus and cause more flow.

im not sure if this answer is entirely correct but i think because the water is stopping the period, when you get out it can finally start flowing again.
