Check the estore for The Stuttering Foundation of America. Their web site is www.stutteringhelp.org. Their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" is what helped my uncles and cousins who stuttered. One uncle went to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering and found that she used that book in her sessions. Another one of their books that is good is "Advice to those who Stutter." They have tips on their web site and brochures. Their newsletters are great, too! Another good site is http://stammeringcentre.org

It was definitely me...

Then, when I am among the strangers, I'll try to put my self as them. I am a stranger for them, too but they are not stammering... So, I encourage myself. If they can't be stammering, I can neither. They are human. Just like you and me. This tought has helped me for years.

By phone?? Just think positively...
To higher officials?? Just think that they are human, too. Just like you and me.

And everything will be fine...

This happens due to lack of clarity , lack of confidence at some times. I have had friends with similar problems. One of them used to speak English like he was speaking his own mother tounge making it impossible for anyone to understand. it was because he wanted people to be impresssed. there was another friend ..and so on.
Friend u have to understnad that your problem has a cause. Find the root of this and you will know the answe yourself. As 2 people with Same problem maynot be able to digest the same medicine i cant give you the same without knowing what could be causing this to you. Maybe someone hurt you , or maybe its just your nature of taking it on the spur of the moment and going ahead. These are some f th major ones , i know of . Dont be afraid /angry when someone laughs at you for this problem. turn it into a urning desire to fare better, and you can do it.
