Ah, dear Goldberry - some people never learn. So too many people will die, always, I think, and always unnecessarily and without good effect. But maybe that might be the only available solution to overpopulation. In so many ways, even beyond religious and political violence, we seem incorrigibly incapable of acting with an eye to the consequences of what we do. That, after all is how George Bush was re-elected, isn't it?

Strange question. Maybe you mean "premature" deaths. But then, what death isn't? Everyone dies at some time or another. The quality or piety of the person has no bearing on the death but can affect those admiring souls who live on. Dying is every bit as natural as being born. We have no control over when either occurs, but a slight edge on dying because we can choose to be careful. No guarantee there though.

How many deaths? I'm not sure. When you are in a leadership role, assassination is always an issue. I am very upset this happened, especially with the news footage that has been playing out today. It is senseless and disrespectful for the media to show the dead after the suicide attack.

God rest her soul and bless her family.

One thing so amazing about this world is everyone around us is dieing, but we think we will not die. But the fact is everyone will have to leave this mortal body. That is for certain. But who is preparing for that most important time, that can come at any moment at any age. In fact that is the purpose of human life, to prepare for that so not to take another birth in this material world. We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. Yes, what a tragedy indeed! What a wonderful lady, so full of courage and hope for her country and its future. The pertetrators of this hideous act will find that her followers will only be made stronger by their senseless act. She left a legacy and her supporters will carry the torch to the finish line.

It's sorry to see such a great person who had died for claiming and fighting for democracy. As earth to earth, dust to dust, there will another baby born in every minute in this earth and will make this world to carry on.

We can't count the number of deaths and we won't be able to even when it's all over for us. We won't have the computations to be able to count the deaths, we will only know, there were too many.
But good-day to the newborns, hello and welcome to the world we have willed to you.
