I hate that the Cowboys are nicknamed "America's Team" I think this title belongs to the Packers. They won the first two Superbowls, the Superbowl trophy is named after the Packers coach Vince Lombardi and Lambeau Field is still the only stadium that is owned by the people of Lambeau. And one great thing about Packers fans is that they travel, all over this country to watch their team, they are completely devoted, home or away.
The Cowboys may have a dynasty but they have no more wins than any other team. They are tied with PIttsburgh for 5 Superbowls.

Because the legendary Dallas coach Tom Landry Innovatated alot of what is still used around the leauge today, and that's wha made them so successful over the years. Haters just don't want to know the truth about a team that advanced the popularity of football more than any other team.

Probably because of the fact that everybody is tired of hearing people talk about past legacies. Dallas hasn't won a Super Bowl since 1994. That been about 14 years ago. Most of the newer NFL fans weren't even born then.

you are right, it is the fans. you people say some bizzare things. for example you claim the cowboys have the best legacy while teams like the giants packers and bears were winning championships before the cowboys even existed. they have only been around since 1960 so thats kind of an ignorant thing to say.

That's because the best legacy, past great dynasty and five Super Bowl wins HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE YEAR 2007.

First off, I'd argue about the cheerleaders - they might be the most famous, but I don't think they're necessarily the most attractive.
As for the whole "America's Team" thing, you need to learn your NFL history. That didn't arise from some fan popularity upswing, but was simply a name given to them by someone at NFL Films for a season retrospective in the 1970s because of their shiny uniforms and glitzy cheerleaders.
I have no problem with the team at all, but it would be nice if their fans really knew their facts sometimes.

The best legacy??? Past great dynasty???
Have you not heard of the original NFL teams that formed what is now known as the NFL???
The Packers and Bears are steeped in tradition, as are other teams.
As the other answerer said, get your facts straight.
