I live in greensboro, nc. Are there any stores nearby with wiis in stock, or anywhere online i can buy it?

I just bought another Wii console about an hour ago at Target. They had at least a dozen or so, just sitting there in stock. This makes the 6th Wii Console I've picked up now in the past 2 months, all at regular stores for the $249 regular retail price. This is Chicagoland though. Not sure about Greensboro, but you just have to keep checking in the stores and checking the ads and you will find one.
However, you also might want to go to your local Gamestop, which has paired up with Nintendo and giving out rainchecks for the Wii console with a guaranteed delivery date in January 2008.

There's no telling when they will come in. I've heard that nintendo is selling vouchers now too that people could give on christmas saying 'you'll get your wii before such and such date"
also check craigslist or ebay - people buy more than they need and sell them all the time.
Other than that, just ask employees working for different stores.
I had better luck looking into less popular stores when the 360 first came out (kmart), simply because people weren't going there everyday asking "do you have any wiis"

i live in wisconsin and my mom and dad got me one for christmas and my mom first waited in a line to get one and didn't and then another day walked into wal mart and was able to get one there was 3 left so she got one for me.........
