Im a fan of both, but ive always wondered who is better?

i think they are both good but I like Eric Clapton better because doesn't he write his songs and sing them?
Santana is good but he gets other people to sing and write the words to the songs and he plays the guitar part

You're comparing apples to oranges but because of Carlos Santana's background, he is the better guitarist. Eric Clapton is excellent as well and I simply believe they are different and not one better than the other.

I think they're both just as talented as the other...they just have different styles. I think Carlos might be a little 'smoother' than Clapton though.
