That happened to me too. I went as far as looking for my first love again. Don't do what I did! Just be thankful that you had something wonderful to look back on and be even more thankful that you have someone right now. When I watched that movie, I saw me and my ex as the young Allie and Noah, but I couldn't picture us as the older couple. I only pictured my husband. That says a lot right there.

So you pine for the good old days when times were simpler and life was a blast. You had a love then but now it is just a sweet memory...
So what makes you think you are so unique?
The older you get the more regrets you get. It happens to everyone.
But the fact is the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence.
Good luck.

Why is it always rich girl, poor guy, girl has to make the choice, rich guy gets dumped?
Maybe rich guys generally dont watch movies so the script is catered for girls and poor guys.
Chick Flick, but a good one though. So are there movies where the rich guy gets the chick or is that just not cool?

i know how you feel, when your married you sometimes think about other ex bf, but start thinking about how great your husband is and what it was like when you two met and fell in love. I play a game with my husband every once in awhile called remember when. you start with remember when and then come up with a memory, and then its fun to actually think about that and remember how strong you felt

That is not good... I recommend that you seek some professional marriage counseling asap. The counselor can talk to you separately, and help you deal with these feelings appropriately.

i absolutely love that book/movie. it's just about honest true love. not that you aren't in love now...you just may have had a much stronger love pull to the "one you are thinking of".
it happens to the best of us...
blessings to you
