Go to the Doctor she seems to have got an infection . many babies do get this but you must treat it. In the meantime just gently wipe with some warm water on a clean cloth. She is still a little young to feed herself but with your guidance she could have a spoon as well as you. expect a mess each time

It could very well be her eyes responding to cleaning out the formula or it may be an eye infection. I would call the pediatrician and she may decide to just call her in some eye drops. My daughter is 8 months old and has had watery gunky eyes for about a month. The doc said it was just a reaction to her ear infection that should clear up as the infection goes away.

It is most likely PINK EYE! You need to see pink eye right away and keep any children out of contact with her! It is HIGHLY CONTAGEOUS!
[Me and my friend Patrick both got it together when we were in 5th grade]
It is passed by touch, air, and also if you make eyecontact with the person for a long time.
When I had pinkeye I woke up with the gunk all over my left eye. It is very gross and you need to make sure you get it all off!
So take her to the doctor as soon as possible and they will check her out, if it's an infection antibiotics are definitley needed! It will last around a week and antibiotics will be needed for 10-14 days, depends on how severe.
But no need to worry or anything! As long as you take her to the doctor she will be fine, it's really just an infeection and irritation in the eye and is not serious unless it gets treated! But also keep her out of contact with people until it's gone and if you have any other children try and keep them away from her and possibly get them out of the house during the day!

Our children all had this..it's most likely a blocked duct as the others have said but it needs to be treated before it gets worse and she ends up with a dangerous eye infection. Definitely take her to the doctor.

Go to the doctor. It could be anything from a blocked tear duct to the beginning of pink eye.

My baby had that around that age as well. My sis in law said her kids all had it around that age and just keep wiping it away with a warm wet washcloth and it will just stop in a couple days. If you are concerned that it may be something more serious, you could call your health insurance's nurse line if they have one or of course take her to the ped. Happy mommy-ing!

She may have a clogged tear duct. A warm damp wash cloth once an hour should help it clear up. But you may wanna ask the pedi rather then take advice on Y!A.

my ten month old had this just recently. It turned out to be an eye infection and she needed meds for it. I would call your doctor first thing in the morning, they will probably want to see her.
