DON'T
having worked in disability for over 10 years.
Many of the children in these services were born pre-term... evern a few weeks make all the difference to overal nerve functioning and IQ,
I know the pregnacy is a drag and the last few weeks are hell but unless there is a serious medical reason PLEASE try and hang in there.

Don't. It's not safe for your baby. 36 weeks isn't even considered full term. There are babies that wind up in the NICU from underdeveloped lungs even at 39 weeks.
I know the last few weeks of pregnancy are hard, but do what's right for your baby. You'll get through it. We all do.

The question is...why would you want too? Your due date is an estimate and could be off as much as two weeks, so you could in theory be only 34 weeks, why would you even want to take that sort of risk? Baby will come when baby is ready.

It's really not safe to start labor by yourself at all.
36 weeks or 40 weeks.
your baby will come when it's ready, or when your doctor does it.

Your baby is not ready to be born yet, even if you are ready for the baby to be born! Babies at that gestational age are still developing their brains and lungs, and every week counts. You can read the stats at the March of Dimes website. Be patient, it will happen when it is time! Good luck!

Honey, you need to wait until the baby is ready to make their grand entrance. The more time the baby is protected and growing inside the safety of mommy's womb the better. This is really not something to be rushed unless the doctor does it.

No. Its also not safe for your baby. The baby's lungs won't be fully mature for 2 more weeks. I know you are probably tired of being pregnant, but please don't do anything. The baby is still maturing and doesn't need to be born yet.
