I just downloaded Norton Security 2008 version
and it downloaded, but when I come up on the
computer I noticed that Norton says that I do not
have anti.virus protection. Since I am on the
computer very little and my bank has there own
protection, do I need anti virus protection as
I am protected in other areas by Norton Security,
and if I do need it is there a web site where I can
download anti virus protection at no additional
cost since I paid for the Norton Security 2008 to
be installed.

Norton Security 2008 can do quite a bit to help ou protect your computer with a firewall, and other utilities, but you still need a good Anti Virus program which is proactive in creating new definitions to protect you from viruses and trojans that are constantly changing. If you dont want to pay for Syamntec AV, their is a free home addition of AVAST which does auto-updates.

BTW, if you spent money on Norton 2008, why didn't you just buy Symantec 360? It has everything.

I'd upgrade and add virus protection if Norton Security 2008 does not include it.
