I was never a big fan of his to begin with. I always thought that he was a bit overrated as a quarterback. Of course the dog fighting thing makes me dislike him even more... especially since I have two rescued (not pit bulls though) of my own.

Celebrities just don't realize that they could get in trouble just as much as "regular people" for doing the same crimes. Vick displayed an awful side of him and got the sentence he deserves. People want more - I say 23 months is enough. If he gets out and does something like this again, give him 10 years.

in this case, the system worked. he's lost his fortunes, he's doing a little time and his career as a nfl qb is over. i have very strong feelings about animal cruelty because i believe anyone who is capable of such things is capable of anything. however, he is being punished for his crimes and hopefully, he will learn from his errors and be able to return to society a better man. if this includes playing in the nfl, i'm fine with that. he's accepted his punishment like a man. he has admitted remorse and wrong doing; and as a society, i don't know what more you can ask from someone. once his time is done, and if he can still play, i'm fine with that. if not, i'm fine with that too.

He's not my favorite guy, but I'm not going to cast stones. He broke the law and did something repulsive to me and many others, and he's now paying the price. I don't see any reason to pile on, given that he's really paying in a big way right now.

it's an unfortunate incident but to be honest does anyone really believe the guys that lived at his house really saying he was there all the time and knew what was really going on when some neighbors said they hadn't seen him at the house all that often and he's not the only sports figure thats been in the headlines ans we should hold them all more accountable and they should be banned from playing in any sport , baaseball right now has the steroid stuff going on, in football you still got pacman jones out there, and we all know most sports figures are totaly bad role models for our kids but it takes good parents to teach them the right things in life.
