The ones I drive: '08 Lexus GS460, '07 Toyota 4-Runner, and a supercharged '04 Mazda Miata MX-5.

Everyone should have a SUV for utility, roominess, and cargo hauling. And a sporty, high-powered luxury sedan for social statement, driving pleasure and comfort. And a small, convertible roadster for sheer impractical fun.

The only thing I don't have is an old Chevy or Ford beater that I can drive to Walmart and McDonalds and not be afraid of being keyed or being banged in to.

Toyota Corolla. My friend had one as her first car many years ago ,when she was a teenager. She had it for almost 10 years. The motor was still in excellent shape, but the body had rusted out from all the Maine winters. She had the body repaired and sold it, and it was on the road about another 3 years. The motor will outlast the body. My kind of car. Plus the mileage was good.
