If so, how fast, and how did u learn?

I learned on the Mavis Beacon touch typing CD. it actually works. i haven't reached my goal yet tho, i'm aiming for 120 wpm. so far, i'm @ about 80 wpm :)

touch typing means typing without looking at the keyboard. and WPM means words per minute. btw :)

I'm at like 140 wpm and not really proud of it, i kinda got a software dat giving typing lessons and u no dat it works

140 WPM and learned it years ago before keyboards came into existence. We used typewriters then and the 140 was not reachable. When keyboards came into existence it became easy.

About 180 in my hey day. I learned in high school about 30 years ago. I also took 105 shorthand. I suppose I type about 95 to 100 these days. I actually enjoy typing, they rhythm of my fingers. Weird?

I can. My last timed test was 100 WPM.

I learned in a Catholic High School, on an electric typewriter (yes, it was before computers). If we looked at our fingers, or at the paper we were typing on, we got our fingers smacked with a ruler.

I learned VERY quickly.

My fastest is 140. I learned in school, but developed my speed at a transcription job.

Just keep practicing; your speed will increase. It helps me to think of words as groups rather than individual letters.

I just learned from doing a lot of typing. I don't know how many words a minute I can type, but it's pretty fast.

I touch type. But I have no idea how fast. Definitely faster than the email message function on Y/A.
