E. O. Wilson did this experiment on a very small island and size/time were not as important as distance from the mainland.( he actually fumigated a whole, but small island )

B is the correct answer.

Take a bowl. Put it 5 feet away from you on the ground and throw a certain number of balls at it. Now do the same thing with the bowl ten feet away from you. Do it again with the bowl 20 feet away. Is the number of balls that end up in the bowl each time different? Suppose you use a bigger bowl. Suppose you throw balls at the bowls for 5 minutes, or ten minutes, or one hour. Would any of those things make the results different?
