hey guys!

i have an issue with my fiance. first of all, i love him madly. the thing is though, the way he dresses sometimes embarrasses me. sorry for poor spelling. he has a hard time finding pants that fit, so when he bends over to pick something up, well... need i say more? i mention that he might want to wear a belt, or that the only one i want seeing his bum is me, that kind of thing.

keep in mind, his mom died when he was fairly young, 21, and his twin brother died when he was 19. so there was a lot of trauma, not to mention moving halfway across the country to be with family. so he has had a lot of stress and depression to deal with. i know he has been depressed so i have tried not to be a ***** and to be very kind and loving about the issue, for the most part not mentioning it at all.

love is love so i am madly in love with him no matter what he looks like. i will not leave him at all no matte what. but it bothers me some. what should i do?

wow, thanks so much for the quick answers everyone! i will wait a little longer before i pick 'best answer'. i appreciate all of you for good, adult answers!! it's nice to know others may have been in the same situation. i may just take him shopping one day like his dad did(he looked really cute in the outfit they picked out together, he gets blue for me!) but the thing is i hate shopping myself lol. i may just have to suck it up and take him.....thanks so much again!

In order to push him in the right direction, I suggest you take him shopping, and buy him some new clothes that really show how great he can look. Once he sees his potential, he might take the hint ;-)

yes lots of guys have no idea how to dress. i have come upon this same problem with a few boyfriends in the past. so i just said "we are going shopping" i look good for you, and i want you to look good for me, jeez, some of my friends are wondering why i'm hanging out with you. he'll get the message. i never had a problem with this approach. plus their mothers thanked me since they couldn't do anything with there grown sons good luck

if he has a sense of humor you tell him you are going to be taking pictures of him from the back so when you to are going to have a family the children will be able to see what his backside looks like or get him a belt and reward him for wearing it

take him shopping and help him pick out some clothes and or belts. when he tries them on, make sure to tell him they look awesome on him and it really turns you on etc... a little encouragement goes a long ways...

Buy him some clothes or a belt.

Or get him a boyfriend that will dress him up nicely.

Good luck.

This is very simple. Take him shopping and dress him.
