Walter Payton #1.
He juked or ran over the defense equally well. He can cut the corner at blazing speed or hit the hole and break 5 tackles. He also had great hands out of the backfield AND was a tremendous blocker. He had everything. Nobody else can say that. L.T. is alot like him now that I think about it.

In a word, NO.
There is a long list of great backs, some being: Gale Sayers, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Jerome Bettis, Tony Dorsett.

Not by a long shot, I personally think it is either Walter Payton or Barry Sanders. Both had a ton of yards playing on some very bad football teams. The other team stacked the box and they still made things happen.

some guy asked what has LT achieved, hmmm, enable's see... Rushed above one thousand yards each season of his profession. Has the only season dashing checklist. Has a profession 4.5 yards consistent with carry. one hundred fifteen dashing TD's... not stating 14 receiving and prefer 5 passing. ok, possibly not the main suitable ever, yet LT ranks interior the desirable 3 or 5

No. At least, not yet. His seasons are very promising and he still has a long way to go. If he keeps on playing almost injury free than maybe, yes. And to get to that "best running back" level, he should at least play in a Superbowl, if not win.
