Time itself is an entirely man created concept. It does not exist in other dimensions the way we've created it. Its a mental state, an idea. We dictate our lives around something that does not really exist except for the fact that we have generated its thought. so, it you consider what time really is, just a mind state that has no actual relevance besides organizing us, it has never existed, so it will never run out. how can something not there vanish?

I'm going to refrain from disparaging the previous answers...
There is dispute among theorists about this question--one theory is that if the universe stops expanding, and begins to contract, that the inevitable conclusion is "The Big Crunch," the opposite of the big bang. It's possible that at this point, with everything in existence being "no more," that all of the dimensions, including time, would no longer exist. In that respect, yes, it is a possibility.
edit: And time is not a man-made concept. It is a very real dimension of our universe; as integral to the fabric of the universe as the three spatial dimensions (and possibly others).

If man keeps believing in it not god didnt create time h only created humans and animals and everything that llives among the earth. And time doesnt live you dont have to believe in it. And in some point of time (who to know) that maybe every animal and human will become extinct and god will have to create a whole new generation. but there is a million different concepts it has to do with what you believe in. it possibly is something to research but i am not quite sure if it is a testable answere but i guess it would br nice to know . but i doubt that it ever will because man will deny it until they are proven to right or to be wrong. Because thats just the way we are. well of you look at it god created the earth and everything in the earth. time is not a living thing it is a whole man made concept. so i hoped i helped! :)

Hi,
Interesting question. One of the ways of thinking about time is linking it to the second law of thermodynamics which, to perhaps oversimplify it, says that disorder always increases in a closed system. So, assuming that the universe is a closed system, which is assumed to be true a this time, in theory, the universe at some far, far distant time in the future will be one constant temperature with no organization. I suppose that at that point that time would not longer exist in the second law sense. Hope you get some good answers.

yeah@marty, lol...langalears was an awesome movie....very interesting about what happens to time and space. But seriously, i agree 100 percent with AlexM. Time is held within the universe...it is not all existing, once the universe goes time will go.

In theory, no, because time is a number, and numbers go on forever. So no.
