This is obviously not a new trend, however I have noticed the pants are being worn lower and lower. What is the need for that? How are they held up? What is this expressing (because I am sure I will here its about self-expression... bull$h!t)?

Also, I would like to know the reason for the extremely long shirts and untied "work" boots (that see no work).

I would also like to hear from a ghetto white guy about why it is that a few months after the African American "ghetto," or "urban" guys start a clothing trend, why do the "ghetto Whitey's" copy.

I like rap music, but I have never been inclined to drop my pants below my buttocks because of it.

Honest question, just looking for some infizzo.

Why do metal heads wear all black and spiky wristbands? It's because they want to be identified as members of a group that likes a certain type of music. It's thei choice. Would they do it if they knew that the guy who started the trend (the lead singer of Judas Priest) was gay and started the trend by getting these items from fetish shops? I doubt it. And I doubt most of these kids know why the pants are worn low or who started the trend.

It obvious you never saw the report on this and where it originally started from. The wearing of the pants half off your a*s started in the prison system and it was to let other prisoner know that your available for the taken, unfortunately this trend carried over onto the streets and now it's a fashion buzz. As for the "wigger" they have nothing else better to do other than try to look and sound like black folks, because we are so cool with everything we do.

They do it because they see other people doing it and they're such conformists that they have to. They don't have their own opinions or anything, they just go along with everyone else. A lot like preps.
Well, some guys are actually comfortable like that or some guys are doing that to avoid flippers.

I think it looks dumb as hell with every other fad (Remeber tie-die shirts?), but its the style and people want to seem "cool". I would only sag my pants if I was with some females as it allows for fast access, chea!
