Keylogger.

Your parents suck, tell them to piss off.

They can, with the right program. My parents did this to me, but I was able to access the program, delete the logs the program made, and eventually, I just uninstalled it. I also felt that it was an invasion of my privacy and didn't want them to find out all my passwords or nothing.

The way the program works is like this: Every key you hit on the keyboard gets logged in. So, if you're playing a game that uses the W-S-A-D keys to move, it will put those keys down continuously. Also, it logs every website you visited, every file you opened and every message you sent. The only thing it can't log is voice-chatting, like if you were using Teamspeak or Ventrilo while playing online games.

I had administrative privileges at the time, so I don't know whether you have the power to access your program or not. I also had "ways" of getting around things on the computer that had it installed on it.

-Edit- Let me make a suggestion to you. Don't try to piss them off. I nearly typed a bunch of things in Microsoft word just so that they could read it. I was going to type things like "Why are you watching me? I know you are. Stop it!" Remember, your parents (most likely) own the computer, and they have given you the privilege of using it. They can just as easily take it away from you. And, try to keep from doing things that will get you in trouble, or that will send up red flags. And then, when you're older, I'm sure you'll realize the importance of having just such a program to monitor and protect YOUR children. These programs can serve the the purpose of eliminating issues (like molestation) at the start, before they become bad.

Odds are that they are bluffing. Unless your parents are somewhat tech savy, then you should be fine. If they have installed any software to monitor your computer then you are pretty much stuck, but I would say that they are lying to you to try and scare you. I too agree that this is an invasion of your privacy but hey, they are your parents, with their rules.

Best thing to do is not do anything on the computer that you would not want your parents to know. I know this is not the answer you are looking for but short of saying go out and buy your own computer, then this is the best advice I can give you.

First of all, if you are a minor it is not an invasion of your privacy.
In the second place, are you trying to hide something?
Honest people who have nothing to hide can show people that they are trustworthy, and thus hope to not be "spied on".
People never pay attention to their computer; it is just a device to do things on. You would be amazed at what your computer knows about you (not just what you enter into it, but computers "learn" things about you!)
Is it possible to see everything you do or type on your computer? Yes. Your computer remembers every single keystroke you make, every mouse click, etc. There are simple programs any one can buy that makes this info readily available.
Just google computer security or maybe "keystroke monitor".
Ask your parents to have faith in you; then don't do anything to cause them to lose faith in you.

if they have the right programs they can... and parents share this info. All my friends have keylogger program to see what their kids are up to.

And no, it is not an invasion of your privacy when they are trying to protect you. You may not think they are, and you think that they are going into your stuff, but if you think about it, if you are going on places you shouldn't, then they it is YOU who are hiding things from them that you know you should not be doing. If you were completely innocent you would not care what they monitored. You will see as you get older how right they are and you will be doing the same to your kids. THANK THEM!!

Can they...Yes.

Are they...most likely not.

Keylogger programs allow it and you would never know or be able to stop it.
