I remember, and I wish they would go back to the old way of doing that.

Yes!! even"Holy Cow!! let you watch the game as he gave some insight on the player who had done something. Now, they are all analysts, they must have a token female to walk into the men's locker room at half time at football games. This tees me off to no end!! There is no place for a woman on a football field even if she was the world's greatest jock. There is a time and place for Title IX and this isn't the place.

Yes and it is really annoying when watching figure skating, like the World Championships or Olympics, they blab, blab, blab so that the music is drowned out. They have to explain every jump, etc. Most people can figure out what is happening during a baseball or football game without all the constant chattering. Enough!

Oh yes! And half the time they don't even show the game - they show the sportscasters talking to each other with their headsets on. When did they think they had to become entertainers? Bring on the game!

Bring back Keith Jackson. His knowledge of football is awesome, and his choice of words and phrases made the games come alive. When he called the play-by-play, he didn't let chatter get in the way.

I don't recall that. But I can't remember ever watching sports, though I must have at one time or another.
But now they no longer allow you to watch the game while they talk? Interesting.
