Personally I don't mind but I have some friends who make a big deal about it. They think it's demeaning or something like that. What about you?

I do not get offended. In fact I prefer calling each other "Baby".

It adds to the relationship when you can use terms of endearment. There is more romance involved when you can call each other "Baby" because you don't normally say those types of words with just anyone.

No, it is a term of endearment and you will have to watch it if your gf/bf starts calling other people babe or baby.

babe or baby is a term of endearment by a boy and a girl who loves each other and in a commitment. other terms are sweetie, honey, love, etc. in Philippines, it's normal to hear couples calling their partner a particular term of endearment and it will be that term only...
now if your bf or gf calls you another term (maybe accidentally), now...u have to think twice. dig deeper and play like a detective.. coz he/she might be cheating on you. hehehe!

They do it kinda such as you're my infant. invaluable to me i think of. yet me in my view, i do no longer locate it wonderful. all and sundry does it now. Even people who are not your boyfriend everyones began calling all and sundry infant and honey. mothers, pals, instructors. Kinda in simple terms an over used set of words.

No, it's a form of endearment for the both of you so, I find nothing wrong or demeaning with the term. My daughter and her husband call each other "babe".

No, it doesn't offend me per se, in fact I like "baby," but I think "babe" sounds dumb

No! We're both mature enough to handle some "babying" so we're really okay with it.

There's nothing wrong with calling your significant other baby or sweetheart or whatever. If they don't like it, you will have to respect that.
