umm sorry but you can't read. and demolitionlover was right. MCR does not consider themselves metal. they don't consider themselves anything other than just Rock.
and he didn't say he was metal in that link you gave its says they were booking tours with Christian metal bands. he didn't say he mcr is a metal band or a christian band just that those were the only bands they could play with cus no one else would book them at the time. LEARN HOW TO READ.

He said he hated the label "emo" and they toured with christian metal bands.

Yeah, they aren't very metal, but they are still FRICKEN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
edit: I went and analyzed that article, no where in there did it say that they thought they were metal. It only said that they were not emo because they were touring with metal christian bands. in other words: get your facts straight before you lash out.
