okay I'm sure have never heard my name. it's Saeed
you cant even pronounce it, it's Arabic, I hate it, and the worst thing is I have a sort of pre-name: Mohammad. (My parents had to add the pre-name to get a new birth certificate but the fact that the name is Arabic is just horrible.) I'm Persian tho, these names are popular here.

My name is Lamai (pronounced La-my). It's Thai, and no it's not French as many think. There is a Lamai Beach in Thailand on Phuket. I've never been but it looks beautiful. It means calm, beautiful, poise... that type of stuff. I like it now, not when I was a little kid. And I've never met anyone else with my name, I think it would be very wierd unless it was someone else in Thailand. Oh and my middle name is Suwanna (my mom's maiden name). Pronounced Sue-wanna. And my last name is Cox. Plain old cox! So my friend calls me Suwanna-Cox.

My name is Monique, it's French. My mother's family is Cajun French, so I think my name is perfectly fitting for my ethnicity. Since my father isn't Cajun my last name doesn't reflect that part of my heritage, so at least I have Monique that reflects my Cajun heritage. 2D
